Mochii Pet Bed Size Guide
Choosing the right size dog bed
The right size dog bed plays an important role in how well your dog rests, recovers, and feels supported. A bed that is too compact can restrict movement and compromise comfort, while one that is excessively large may feel less secure for dogs who prefer a sense of enclosure.
Our sizing chart has been carefully created with veterinary guidance to ensure each bed offers appropriate support for your dog’s natural posture and body alignment. This is especially valuable for young dogs in their growth stages, senior pets, and breeds that benefit from additional joint support.
When selecting a size, consider the following:
- Your dog’s length and overall build
- Their weight
- How they typically sleep — curled, stretched, or leaning
- Breed traits and tendencies
- The construction and support profile of the bed
Breed recommendations are intended as a general guide only. As no two dogs are the same, measuring your dog provides the most accurate and reliable result.

Measuring your dog
Taking a few simple measurements ensures a considered and comfortable fit.
Length
Measure from the tip of your dog’s nose to the base of their tail, excluding the tail itself. This determines the minimum length your dog requires to rest comfortably.
Height
Measure from the top of the shoulder to the floor. This helps identify the appropriate bed width and level of structural support.
Width
Take a measurement across your dog's body at the broadest section, usually the shoulders or hips. For optimal comfort, allow an extra 10–15 cm beyond this width so your dog has room to settle and adjust their position freely.
Once measured, consult our Size Chart to select the most suitable bed for your dog’s proportions and sleeping preferences.
If your dog sits between sizes
If your dog falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger option — particularly for dogs who enjoy stretching out while they sleep.
