30-Day Comfort Guarantee
At Mochii Pet, we stand behind the quality and comfort of our dog beds. If you or your dog are not completely satisfied with the comfort, support or suitability of your dog bed, you may return it within 30 days of delivery and receive a full refund of the purchase price, subject to the terms and conditions below.
This Guarantee is provided voluntarily by Mochii Pet and is separate from, and in addition to, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the 30-Day Comfort Guarantee, customers must:

Notify Mochii Pet by email at support@mochiipet.com.au before the expiry of 30 days from the date of delivery;

Provide their order number or proof of purchase;
-
Cooperate with any reasonable requests for photographs or additional information to assist with assessing the claim; and
-
Comply with all requirements set out in this policy.
Only one claim may be made per order and a maximum of one Comfort Guarantee claim may be made per household within any twelve (12) month period.
The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee is available only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Condition of the Bed
Prior to return or donation, the bed must be thoroughly cleaned and presented in a hygienic condition. The bed must:

Be freshly washed and free from excessive pet hair and dirt;

Be free from mould, mildew, fleas or other infestations;
-
Be free from strong or offensive odours;
-
Be free from damage beyond normal wear and tear; and
-
Be suitable for rehoming or donation, at Mochii Pet's sole discretion.
Beds that are torn, excessively worn, damaged, unhygienic or otherwise unsuitable for rehoming or donation are not eligible for a refund.
The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee does not cover damage caused by chewing, scratching, digging, nesting, accidents, misuse, improper care, neglect or any other damage caused by your dog or by external factors.
Normal softening, compression, flattening or cosmetic wear resulting from regular use does not constitute a manufacturing defect and is not covered under this Guarantee.
Mochii Pet reserves the right to refuse a refund where a bed is deemed unhygienic, damaged, infested, mould-affected or otherwise unsuitable.
Returning Your Bed
Customers may return the bed to our warehouse in Sumner, Queensland.
All costs associated with packaging and return freight are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed. Shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
Once the bed has been received and inspected, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original payment method.
Depending on your financial institution, refunds may take up to ten (10) business days to appear in your account.
Donation Option
As an alternative to returning the bed to our warehouse, customers may donate the bed to a registered animal welfare organisation, including an RSPCA branch, rehoming centre, rescue group or foster network.
To qualify for a refund under this option, customers must:

Provide a clear photograph showing the bed being handed over to the receiving organisation;

Provide the name, location and contact details of the organisation, pound or rescue group receiving the bed;

Authorise Mochii Pet to contact the organisation to verify receipt of the donated bed; and
-
Provide any additional information reasonably requested by Mochii Pet to validate the donation.
Upon successful verification, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original payment method.
Exclusions
The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee applies only to the purchase price of the dog bed and does not cover:

Shipping charges;
-
Return freight or packaging costs;
-
Any incidental or consequential costs incurred by the customer;
-
Replacement covers, accessories, blankets or other non-bed products;
-
Clearance, seconds or final sale items;
-
Commercial, kennel, breeder, boarding, rescue or veterinary use;
-
Damage caused by chewing, scratching, digging, accidents, misuse or improper care; or
-
Products that have been modified or altered after purchase.
Mochii Pet reserves the right to decline a refund where the conditions of this Guarantee have not been met or where sufficient evidence of return or donation cannot be provided or verified.
Mochii Pet further reserves the right to refuse claims that are fraudulent, abusive, excessive or otherwise inconsistent with the intended purpose of this Guarantee.
Manufacturing Warranty
The 30-Day Comfort Guarantee is separate from any manufacturing warranty offered by Mochii Pet and does not extend the duration or scope of any warranty.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes arising in connection with the 30-Day Comfort Guarantee shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
